Remember when you were young? How excited you were with the thought of Santa coming. And Christmas morning the tree full of presents… you couldn’t wait to tear open gifts under the tree. All of this can be overwhelming to the average child, but for a child with Autism or ADHD it’s especially overwhelming to them. All of the holiday events that we enjoy and anticipate every year can easily turn from joy to tears to tantrums and melt downs in a matter of moments.

In a continuation of my last blog about the BioMat and Autism I have discovered even more research on the links of toxins to autism. Despite the ever increasing number of children being diagnosed with Autism, medical science is still unable to pinpoint its root causes.
In April the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, released a study that estimated the number of children having Autism to be 1 in 50. Autism appears to be increasing at an alarming rate. Less than 10 years ago one in every 150 children were diagnosed with Autism.
